It begins with a violent midday bank robbery as Bobby Prospero and his drug addictive girlfriend Jewel escape the chaos at hand with a duffle bag of cash and McQuade, a reluctant outcast who had no intention of serving as their getaway driver. But with a gun at his head and no realistic options under the circumstances, McQuade peels off on the lamb, dodging police and submersing himself into a dark, tragic adventure he must play out till the end.
Dodged into an isolated mansion deep in the forest allows them a brief break from the troubles at hand until two college friends, Leslie and Brooke, involved in a severe car accident, happen upon their hideaway.
Now, as Bobby grows aggressively impatient, they all are forced to remain within the cryptic location for the duration of the night. But nothing ever seems to go as planned, and as the night continues to unfold they each begin to believe the mansion holds many more secrets within its mysterious chambers.
Every shadow seems to whisper. Every corner appears to shift, and before long, they each begin to hold the other responsible for the situation they have found themselves in. A situation that may have been destined to unfold long before the events transpired. A situation fuelled by Bobby’s rage, blurred by Jewels drug addiction and scattered by McQuade’s confusion. A confusion stemming from the reality before them, and an unfolding love destined to be damned. In the realm of life there are stages, and for these five characters, those stages are about to collide.
